Oratio Directa is a scholarly journal in communication studies affiliated with FISIP Bung Karno University and published by LPPM Universitas Bung Karno. The journal provides an academic platform for the dissemination of communication research, critical reflection, and scholarly discussion on contemporary communication issues in Indonesia and beyond.

The journal welcomes manuscripts that present original research, conceptual analysis, and critical studies in communication science. Submissions should demonstrate clear academic contribution, methodological soundness, and relevance to the development of communication scholarship, professional practice, public discourse, media institutions, and communication policy.

Focus

The main focus of the journal is the advancement of communication studies through scholarly work on communication theory, communication practice, media development, public communication, strategic communication, and the social role of communication in democratic and institutional life.

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts original research articles, conceptual or theoretical studies, case analyses, and critical reviews in communication studies. All submitted manuscripts must demonstrate originality, clear scholarly argumentation, proper citation, and alignment with the journal's focus and scope.
