KONSTRUKSI BERITA OPERASI TANGKAP TANGAN ROMAHURMUZIY OLEH KOMISI PEMBERANTASAN KORUPSI (Analisis Framing Model Murray Adelman Pada Laman RMOL.co Edisi Maret 2019)

Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT) Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) atas Romahurmuziy (Romi) menyingkap tabir fenomena korupsi politik sistemik elite politik yang berada di lingkaran inti kekuasaan. Tak ayal, peristiwa OTT KPK ini mendapat liputan luas dan menjadi isu panas di media massa, termasuk di portal berita RMOL.co. Framing berita OTT Romi penting untuk dikaji mengingat konstruksi media tak selalu mencerminkan realitas yang ada. Penelitian ini berupaya menganalisis bagaimana RMOL.co membingkai kasus OTT KPK Romi melalui penggunaan elemen analisis framing model Murray Adelman (kategorisasi, ideologi, rubrikasi, dan klasifikasi) sebagai perangkat analisis teks berita atas kasus OTT Romi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberitaan RMOL.co cenderung berpihak pada pengungkapan kasus OTT Romi. Penonjolan RMOL.co atas kasus OTT Romi terlihat dari framing berita RMOL.co yang lebih banyak menyoroti sisi negatif OTT Romi disatu sisi, serta sisi positif KPK pada sisi lain, terutama kinerja KPK dan kubu BPN Prabowo-Sandi terkait OTT KPK pada elite politik yang selama ini kerap berlindung dibalik tirai kekuasaan.

ABSTRACT
 
Hand Cathing Operations (HCO) The Corruption Eradication Commission on Romahurmuziy (Romi) reveals the phenomenon of systemic political corruption in the political elite in the core circle of power. No doubt, the events of the KPK capture received wide coverage and became a hot issue in the mass media, including on the news portal RMOL.co. Framing the news of Romi’s capture is important to study because the construction of media does not always reflect the real reality. This study attempts to analyze how RMOL.co framed the case of Romi's KPK capture through the use of Murray Adelman's model framing element analysis (categorization, ideology, rubric, and classification) as a tool for analyzing news texts on Romi's capture case. The results of the study indicate that reporting on RMOL.co tends to favor the disclosure of Romi's capture case. The prominence of RMOL.co over Romi's HCO case can be seen from the framing of the RMOL.co news which more highlights the negative side of Romi's HCO on the one hand, and the positive side of the KPK on the other, and the positive side of the KPK on the other, especially the performance of the KPK and PrabowoSandi's BPN camp in relation to the KPK HCO to the political elite who have often taken refuge behind the curtain of power.
