Persamaan dan Perbedaan Kebijakan Pengupahan Perempuan Buruh di Industri Tekstil Nasional.

Abstract

This research is to find the difference and the similarities of the women labor wage policy in the national industry textile between the reigns of Suharto and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Both of this government is connected by the same method of development, which is the modernization approach. Modernization stage in Indonesia is started from manufactur industry, export industry, and free-market industry. Industry liberalization has become the major paradigm since 1995. The National textiles Industry implement the efficiency approach as the respon to the liberalization industry by using the over time and short-term contract. Over time and short-term contract are affecting to the low women labor welfare. This research is using three perspectives, which are the women in development (WID), woman and development (WAD), and gender and development (GAD) as the basic analysis to wage policy government from both governments.
