KOMUNIKASI POLITIK ACEH ROCK BAND DALAM MEMPERTAHANKAN EKSISTENSINYA PASCA PENANDATANGANAN MOU HELSINKI (Studi Tentang Lobby Politik Grup Musik Aceh Rock Band ke Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Provinsi Aceh)

Abstract

ABSTRACT
This research discusses the dynamics of the relationship between political communication and the
role of the Aceh Rock Band music group in maintaining its existence after the signing of the
Helsinki MOU. In which in the post-conflict dynamics of Aceh and the Unitary State of the
Republic of Indonesia there have been many victims and also restrictions on access for musicians
in Aceh after the implementation of the Military Operations Area (DOM) which caused great
unrest for musicians at that time, an agreement emerged in Helsiniki in Finland in August 15, 2005
to prove that Aceh and Indonesia have made peace. This really makes Aceh musicians enthusiastic
to gather and immediately discuss the recording of the album that has been conceptualized before.
This research uses qualitative methods.

ABSTRAK
Riset ini membahas mengenai dinamika relasi antara Komunikasi politik dan peran grup musik
Aceh Rock Band dalam mempertahankan eksistensinya pasca penandatanganan MOU Helsinki.
Yang mana dalam dinamika pasca konflik Aceh dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia telah
terjadi banyak korban dan juga pembatasan akses bagi para musisi di Aceh pasca diterapkannya
Daerah Operasi Militer (DOM) yang sangat menimbulkan keresahan bagi para musisi saat itu,
muncul sebuah kesepakatan Helsiniki di Finlandia pada tanggal 15 Agustus 2005 untuk
membuktikan bahwasannya Aceh dan Indonesia telah berdamai. Hal ini sangat membuat antusias
para musisi Aceh untuk berkumpul dan segera membahas perekaman Album yang sudah di
konsepkan sebelumnya.Riset ini menggunakan metode kualitatif.
